expectations and requirements.

Overseeing project timelines and milestones, ensuring an efficient workflow and timely delivery while maintaining high

standards of quality and innovation.

Client

Niantic, Inc., renowned for its pioneering work in augmented reality (AR) and mobile gaming, is a notable client in our portfolio. As the creator of globally acclaimed games like Pokémon GO, Harry Potter: Wizards Unite, and Ingress, Niantic has revolutionized the gaming industry by integrating the digital and physical worlds. Our collaboration with Niantic involved providing innovative technology solutions and strategic support, helping them enhance user experience and engagement in their AR platforms. This partnership underscored our expertise in navigating the complexities of cutting-edge AR technology and our commitment to delivering exceptional results in dynamic and user-centric environments.

Goals for the project

The project involves developing a mobile augmented reality (AR) app leveraging the client’s SDK, Niantic's Lightship ARDK 3.0. This AR app builds an unique experience around one of Pittsburgh's unique features, the bridges, to motivate players to move and explore the real world. AlighteR will test Lightship’s newly updated AR features and design an immersive experience to leverage the technology throughout the semester. The team will primarily work on Android mobile development, but could potentially publish on both Android and iOS platforms.
